Shopify Collabs is an app designed to facilitate partner collaborations and communications between businesses and content creators. This Shopify product has both a business and content creator audience. Launched in Fall 2022 the app continued to evolve with a major update in May 2023.
At launch I was a designer focused on the merchant audience and then took on creative lead during the 2023 major update focused on the creator audience. The campaign consisted of landing pages, sizzle reel videos, email, social, and digital ads.
This part of the product was designed for businesses already using Shopify who are looking for new ways to drive sales. Our approach for the design was more neutral and mature in comparison to the creator side of the brand. We utilized assets that showcase influencer photography to emphasize how the app could connect them with creators.
The product launched with 2 landing pages, several email campaigns, paid ads, sizzle videos, and how to videos. Following the launch we continued support by creating merchant case studies and developing a Collabs symbol that matched the spot illustrations I designed for the the creator side of product.
Worked with a studio to produce 3 total videos for launch. This was the merchant promo video. We provided story boards, art direction, and photography.
In May 2023 the product had evolved with several new major features. Shopify had went through a huge web system update so this gave us the opportunity to refresh the brand elements along with updating the sites with feature updates.
